When you see the letters SP on a Ducati, you expect more than just a different paint job. The new Streetfighter V4 SP continues the brand's tradition of particularly lavishly equipped naked bikes. It is based on the 2025 model generation, with additions including carbon wheels, a dry clutch and plenty of parts for race track use. Every bike carries a sequential serial number laser-engraved on the handlebar.

Streetfighter V4 SP: V4 with dry clutch
According to Ducati, the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale produces 214 PS at 13,500 rpm, while 205 PS is quoted for the US version. Maximum torque is 12.2 kgm at 11,250 rpm, which works out to around 120 Nm. The 90-degree V4 features a counter-rotating crankshaft. It is paired with an aluminium STM-EVO-SBK dry clutch with nine plates. Compared with the oil-bath clutch of the V4 S, it is said to improve the anti-hopping function under demanding race track conditions and make overrun phases smoother. Alternative secondary springs from the Ducati Performance range allow the mechanical engine braking effect to be adjusted.

According to Ducati, the supplied open carbon clutch cover shows off the typical metallic rattle of the dry clutch and is intended exclusively for race track use. The clutch also allows the use of Ducati Corse Performance Oil, developed by Shell together with Ducati Corse. This is said to increase peak power by up to 3 PS. Final drive is handled by a 520 DID ERV7 chain with a matching front and rear sprocket set. Ducati points out that this chain is used by factory teams and weighs less than the setup on the V4 S.
Streetfighter V4 SP: carbon wheels instead of forged wheels
Ducati starts its diet at the wheels. According to the manufacturer, the carbon wheels with five split spokes save a total of 950 grams of unsprung mass compared with the forged aluminium wheels of the Streetfighter V4 S. The moment of inertia drops by 12 percent at the front and 19 percent at the rear. This is meant to make changes of direction easier and improve agility and steering precision. Ducati quotes a wet weight of 188 kg without fuel. The aluminium tank holds 16 litres, and a lithium battery is also part of the features. The bike rolls on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tyres, with a 200/60 at the rear.

According to Ducati, the carbon wheels save a total of 950 grams compared with the forged wheels of the V4 S.
Streetfighter V4 SP: Öhlins and adjustable footpegs
For the suspension, Ducati relies on the third generation of Öhlins electronic control. The NIX-30 fork, TTX-36 shock and steering damper work with Smart EC 3.0, and Ducati calls the overall system DES 3.0. The adjustment range is meant to allow more comfortable road setups as well as firmer setups for the race track. Faster hydraulic valves are intended to make the responsiveness more precise. The machined aluminium rider footpegs can be adjusted to suit physique and riding style and feature carbon heel guards. Switching between standard and reverse shift pattern is also possible.

Streetfighter V4 SP: Brembo brakes with remote adjuster
Up front, stopping power comes from two 330 mm discs and Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers. The Brembo MCS 19.21 master cylinder offers three configurations that change the lever feel. A racing-derived remote adjuster on the left handlebar allows the brake lever to be adjusted on the move. The brake and clutch levers are machined. For use on closed circuits, Ducati also supplies carbon air ducts for brake cooling.

Streetfighter V4 SP: electronics and 6.9-inch TFT
The electronics are based on a six-axis IMU and the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO). The package includes Race eCBS with cornering function, Ducati Traction Control DVO, Ducati Slide Control, Ducati Wheelie Control DVO and Ducati Power Launch DVO. Added to this are the Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 quickshifter and Engine Brake Control. Four riding modes are available: Race, Sport, Road and Wet. Quick adjustments are made via dedicated buttons. The new full-TFT display measures 6.9 inches and has an 8:3 aspect ratio. Full-LED lighting with daytime running light is standard, and the SP is prepared for the Ducati Data Logger and Ducati Multimedia System.

Streetfighter V4 SP: Winter Test livery and track kit
Visually, the Winter Test livery is inspired by the Ducati Corse machines from MotoGP and WorldSBK pre-season testing. Matt black fairing panels meet carbon winglets, carbon front and rear mudguards and the dark carbon wheels. Contrasting with these are the exposed brushed aluminium tank, bright red accents, a dedicated two-tone seat and brake calipers in Ducati red. The SP comes as a single-seater, with a pillion kit available as an accessory.

The brushed aluminium tank contrasts with the matt black Winter Test look.
For conversion to track use, the scope of delivery includes parts for removing the licence plate holder and mirrors, including covers. Ducati also lists a machined aluminium fuel cap. These components, along with the open clutch cover and the brake cooling ducts, are intended for vehicles used exclusively on closed circuits. According to the manufacturer, they are not approved for use on public roads. The Streetfighter V4 SP is expected to be available at Ducati dealers in Europe in the Winter Test livery from March 2027.
