According to Ducati, the concept that the design of the new Hypermotard V2 RVE refers back to was created in 2019. Now the manufacturer is bringing the graffiti look back to the twin-cylinder range while also updating the Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE. Both versions feature a distinctive graphic which, according to Ducati, achieves a paint-like effect through an elaborate process. Anyone who wants their Hyper to be clearly recognisable even when parked outside the ice cream parlour now gets two differently powered interpretations of the same idea.

Termignoni for the single, more electronics for the V2
Ducati is stepping up the Hypermotard's looks: the 698 Mono RVE gets new graffiti graphics, and the V2 once again gets an RVE version. But behind the eye-catching fairings there are also differences in standard features.

RVE style returns to the twin-cylinder Hyper
698 Mono RVE with factory-fitted Termignoni
The Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE centres on a reinterpretation of the familiar graffiti graphic. According to the manufacturer, it is meant to emphasise the stripped-back, aggressive design of the single. This is complemented by standard-fit, homologated Termignoni silencers with special finishes that round off the RVE's look. It is worth checking the footnote here, though: Ducati only offers this standard equipment in markets where it is available. The statement therefore explicitly does not apply across the board to every country.

The 698 Mono RVE combines new graffiti graphics with homologated Termignoni silencers, where available in the respective market.
V2 RVE with Power Launch and Pit Limiter
The Ducati Hypermotard V2 RVE picks up on the original design concept of the RVE family and combines its graffiti livery with two-tone wheels. Compared with the standard version, Ducati also expands the standard features with Ducati Power Launch and Pit Limiter. This means the difference from the regular V2 goes beyond the eye-catching design. Ducati positions the new variant as an addition to the Hypermotard range that combines the series' idiosyncratic look with a more comprehensive electronics package.
