In 1927, Giuseppe Guzzi reached the Arctic Circle on a Moto Guzzi GT 500. The bike was later given the name Norge. Almost a century later, the far north once again provides the inspiration for a special Guzzi: together with Italian outdoor brand Napapijri, Moto Guzzi is launching a special edition of the V85 TT. The collaboration links the motorcycle brand's touring heritage with Napapijri's apparel and carries the theme from the tank to the seat.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Napapijri: Special edition with heated seat

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Napapijri: North Cape by design
White on the tank, paired with blue and red: the colours reference the Napapijri logo and the Norwegian flag. The exposed frame, the front mudguard and the fork guards continue the colour scheme. The tank features a graphic inspired by a world map, complete with the geographic coordinates of the North Cape, while the mudguard carries the NORDKAPP lettering. The V85 TT continues to blend nods to earlier eras of motorcycle travel with the technology of a modern adventure bike.

White, blue and red mark out the Napapijri special edition of the Moto Guzzi V85 TT.
The designers sweat the details on the upper triple clamp. A laser engraving combines the logos of both brands, the original lettering and the coordinates of the North Pole. The windscreen bears an engraved pentagon reminiscent of the chest pocket on the Napapijri Rainforest windbreaker. On the seat, the same pattern alternates with the stylised Moto Guzzi eagle. The round twin headlight features LED technology and an eagle-shaped daytime running light.
V85 TT Napapijri: Heated comfort and Bering Bag
Warm fingers come straight from the factory here: heated grips and a heated seat are standard features. On top of that come hand guards and an aluminium bash plate. The windscreen can be adjusted by hand to five positions over a total range of 70 mm. The Napapijri Bering Bag is also included. The travel bag is made from waxed cotton canvas called Pronto Intervento. According to the manufacturer, the material is particularly hard-wearing and weatherproof. So the collaboration goes beyond a new paint job.

The Napapijri Bering Bag is included with the special edition.
Moto Guzzi V85 TT Napapijri: V-twin with 80 hp
Beneath the coloured tank sits a transversely mounted, air-cooled 90-degree V-twin displacing 853 cc. Moto Guzzi quotes 80 hp, or 58.8 kW, at 7,750 rpm and 83 Nm at 5,100 rpm. Variable valve timing optimises the valve lift curves. 90 per cent of peak torque is said to be available from as low as 3,500 rpm. The manufacturer thus promises spontaneous responsiveness on the road and in light off-road terrain. There are two valves per cylinder, with titanium intake valves.

According to Moto Guzzi, the air-cooled 853 cc 90-degree V-twin produces 80 hp.
Bore is 84 mm, stroke 77 mm and the compression ratio 10.5:1. Electronic fuel injection and a single 52 mm throttle body handle mixture preparation, with throttle control via ride-by-wire. The engine meets Euro 5+. The tank holds 23 litres, including a five-litre reserve.
V85 TT Napapijri: Spoked wheels and chassis
The foundation is a tubular frame made of high-strength steel. Up front is a hydraulic 41 mm upside-down fork, at the rear a box-section aluminium double-sided swingarm with a right-hand-mounted shock. Preload and rebound are adjustable at both ends, with 170 mm of travel each. The cross-spoked wheels carry tubeless, treaded tyres: 110/80 R19 on a 2.50 x 19-inch rim up front and 150/70 R17 on a 4.25 x 17-inch rim at the rear.

Cross-spoked wheels with tubeless tyres are part of the V85 TT Napapijri's features.
Braking up front is handled by twin floating 320 mm stainless steel discs with radially mounted Brembo four-piston calipers. At the rear there is a 260 mm stainless steel disc and a two-piston floating caliper. Moto Guzzi quotes a seat height of 830 mm, a wheelbase of 1,530 mm, a rake of 25.7 degrees and 128 mm of trail. The bike is 2,240 mm long and 950 mm wide. As for weight, the spec sheet lists 209 kg dry weight and 230 kg wet weight, the latter with all fluids and the tank 90 per cent full.
V85 TT Napapijri: Four modes and smartphone connectivity
Road, Sport, Offroad and Rain are the four riding modes. They adjust the MGCT traction control, the ABS and the throttle response of the ride-by-wire. A six-axis IMU registers the bike's attitude and enables cornering ABS as well as lean-sensitive traction control. Braking force and drive output are regulated according to lean angle. Cruise control holds the set speed without you having to keep your hand on the throttle constantly.
The colour TFT measures five inches. Moto Guzzi MIA, which connects smartphone and dash, also comes as standard. Voice assistant, phone calls and music can be controlled via the handlebar switchgear. There is also a navigation function: the destination is entered on the smartphone, and turn-by-turn directions then appear directly on the dash.

The cockpit combines a five-inch colour TFT with standard smartphone connectivity via Moto Guzzi MIA.
V85 TT Napapijri: Joint apparel collection
The special-edition bike is the latest chapter in a collaboration that, according to the press kit, was announced last September at the GMG, the Giornate Mondiali Guzzi, or Moto Guzzi World Days. It has already produced a limited capsule collection of casual wear. The garments carry a shared symbol combining the Moto Guzzi eagle and the Napapijri logo.
