The Speedy 400 is a really smart A2-class naked bike at a low price. The engine could be a little more agile, but the small Speed 400 offers a nice torque plateau in the mid-range. Thanks to its low weight, the handling is perfectly fine and the suspension offers an appropriate compromise between comfort and sport - with a tendency towards comfort. Although the brakes only have one disc at the front, they are really effective. Finally, the electronics also score points, with even a disengageable traction control system on board.

The E-Clutch is a perfect match for the CB500 Hornet’s accessible design. It takes the strain off the rider, particularly in city traffic, when pulling away, during stop-and-go driving and when turning slowly, without taking away the rider’s control over gear selection. This offers a noticeable improvement in comfort, especially for new riders.
