A curva de binário plana é responsável pela propulsão suave e potente. A partir das 4000 rotações, a Duke empurra com força e atinge as 8500 rotações. Mesmo a baixas rotações, o motor não gagueja nem engole, o que é uma vantagem na cidade. A maior força da Duke, para além da sua capacidade de condução, é a sua manobrabilidade, razão pela qual se pode dizer que é um brinquedo. Só quando estamos na pista de corridas e a atacar com força é que desejamos ter o "R" debaixo do rabo.
