O chassis e os travões também têm uma pontuação elevada e a posição de assento é desportiva e direita, cobrindo um amplo espetro desde a diversão maravilhosa até às viagens de longa distância. Infelizmente, a BMW também entende perfeitamente o truque com a lista de sobretaxas. O modelo básico está bem equipado com ABS que pode ser desativado, controlo de tração que também pode ser desativado e dois modos de condução, mas muitos truques interessantes são quase obrigatórios - e, claro, fazem subir muito o preço.
