Tal como a Kawasaki Versys, a pequena V-Strom está a ficar um pouco mais velha. A 1000 está tão bem conseguida e é tão fácil de conduzir que deve considerar a hipótese de pegar na "grande" imediatamente. Em termos de versatilidade, no entanto, a 650 não é de forma alguma inferior à grande V-Strom, e a um preço muito mais baixo. Mas nós já não a levaríamos para a pista de corridas. E, claro, tem de lidar com uma carga pesada mais do que uma mota com mais de 100 cv.
