Starting with the Yamaha MT-09 2016, it boasts a powerful three-cylinder engine with a displacement of 847cc, delivering an impressive 115 horsepower and 87.5 Nm of torque. This makes it incredibly fast and exhilarating to ride. The bike also comes with three power modes, allowing riders to adjust the performance according to their preferences. Additionally, the MT-09 features a fully adjustable chassis and a quick-shifting gearbox, enhancing its sporty and dynamic characteristics. The seating position is sporty and upright, providing comfort and control. The bike is equipped with good brakes and has an aggressive appearance. It also comes with traction control, ensuring stability and safety during rides. However, the seat may be a bit too firm for long journeys, and the license plate holder on the swingarm offers less splash protection compared to a conventional holder.
On the other hand, the KTM 690 Duke 2016 is known for its versatility and smooth operation. It is powered by a highly developed single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 690cc, delivering 73 horsepower and 70 Nm of torque. While it may not be as powerful as the MT-09, it still offers a satisfying riding experience. The bike is suitable for daily use and provides a low-vibration and smooth ride. The KTM 690 Duke features a chrome-molybdenum frame and a tubular chassis, ensuring stability and durability. It has a similar tire width and diameter as the MT-09, providing good grip and maneuverability. The bike has a slightly longer wheelbase compared to the MT-09, offering stability at higher speeds. The seat height is slightly higher as well, but it still provides a comfortable riding position. The KTM 690 Duke is also lightweight, weighing only 149.5 kg (with ABS), making it easy to handle. However, it is worth mentioning that the bike may not be sporty enough for track racing, despite offering an optional Track Pack at an additional cost.

Pros and Cons in comparison
Pros and Cons in comparison
Yamaha MT-09 2016
