A posição de condução vertical, virada para a retaguarda, não retira tanta sensação de roda dianteira à MT-09 SP, uma vez que o chassis de alta qualidade proporciona um feedback limpo da estrada e percorre todos os raios com estabilidade. Infelizmente, como é típico da Yamaha, a clareza do ecrã TFT e o conceito de funcionamento da eletrónica exuberante deixam muito a desejar. O conforto do assento e do passageiro também poderia ser melhor. De resto, no entanto, a MT-09 SP é a moto (quase) perfeita para uma condução divertida.
