Infelizmente, o carismático motor bate forte em baixas rotações e, portanto, só revela o seu maravilhoso carácter V2 na estrada rural. No entanto, tudo isto reflecte muito bem a imagem geral da Monster: uma Ducati típica que também é boa para a condução diária em termos de suspensão e travões.
