In terms of weaknesses, the KTM 1190 Adventure 2016 engine jerks a little below 3000 revs and does not look as independent as its predecessor. Additionally, smooth gliding is not its strong point. The KTM 1090 Adventure 2017, on the other hand, has optics that seem outdated compared to the new 1290 Super Adventures and its suspension fork is not adjustable.

La KTM 1190 Adventure est un talent universel absolu, aucune exigence qu'elle ne remplisse pas : Elle concilie sport, voyage, cols et off-road. Il n'y a guère d'autres motos "à tout faire" qui permettent d'aller aussi vite - même sur les pistes de course, la 1190 Adventure fait bonne figure avec ses 150 CV. Particulièrement imbattable sur les routes de montagne étroites, elle est également un compagnon agréable pour les trajets quotidiens vers le travail. Elle est également accompagnée d'un pack électronique complet avec des modes de puissance réglables, un contrôle de traction et même un ABS en cas d'inclinaison.
KTM 1090 Adventure 2017
La KTM 1090 Adventure est un grand pas en avant par rapport à son prédécesseur, la 1050 Adventure, en direction de ses grandes sœurs. Le package électronique avec les Riding Modes réglables, le contrôle de traction et l'ABS reste certes à un niveau déjà élevé, mais le moteur développe désormais 125 ch, soit environ un tiers ( !) de plus que la 1050. Ce qui est presque plus important, c'est qu'il peut désormais tirer librement jusqu'à plus de 10 000 tours et offre ainsi une plage de régime plus exploitable. Il est difficile de trouver une moto plus équilibrée dans la catégorie des grandes enduros de voyage encore à peu près abordables.
