La Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade SP est certes une 1000cc, mais elle n'est jamais menaçante. Elle est compacte, donne confiance et offre un grand plaisir de conduite. Une combinaison que peu de motos sont capables de réaliser. Sur la route, elle est sensationnelle, sur la piste de course, elle est grandiose pour les trackdays. Mais le chemin vers une véritable machine de course est probablement un peu plus long avec elle qu'avec une autre 1000.

Avec sa cylindrée de 1.077 cm3, elle n'entre certes pas dans le cadre d'un règlement de course courant, mais pour les pilotes amateurs ambitieux, l'augmentation de la cylindrée permet une conduite encore plus facile.
