Honda has delivered more than one million SH scooters in Europe over four decades. Since the displacement increase in 2021, the big member of the family has been called the SH350i, sitting alongside the SH125i and SH150i at the top of the range. The earlier SH300i already combined a flat floor with 16-inch wheels. 2015 brought Euro 4, more torque, lower consumption and changes to design and chassis, followed by HSTC and Smartkey in 2019. For 2027, Honda is now focusing on the cockpit and the colours.

Honda SH350i 2027: TFT replaces LCD in the cockpit
The most important update sits right in front of the rider: a 4.2-inch TFT colour display replaces the previous LCD. It shows speed, mileage, fuel level and time. Via the integrated Bluetooth interface, your smartphone can be connected to Honda RoadSync. After downloading the RoadSync app and pairing, turn-by-turn navigation is available on the display. If you use a Bluetooth headset in your helmet, you can also make calls and listen to music. The USB-C socket in the glovebox keeps the smartphone charged on the move. The next turn now shows up in the cockpit, and the phone can stay stowed away.
Honda SH350i: 29 hp from the eSP+ single
So what powers the big SH? A liquid-cooled SOHC single with four valves, PGM-FI fuel injection and 330 cc displacement. Honda quotes 29 hp or 21.5 kW at 7,500 rpm and 31.5 Nm at 5,250 rpm. According to the manufacturer, top speed is 134 km/h, and the scooter is said to cover 200 metres from a standstill in 10.2 seconds. An automatic centrifugal clutch and the continuously variable V-Matic handle power transmission, with a toothed belt taking drive to the rear wheel. Shifting is thus struck off the daily to-do list.

According to Honda, the SH350i's eSP+ single produces 29 hp from 330 cc.
Behind the eSP+ designation lies a series of measures against friction and vibration. The engine combines a 77 mm bore with a 70.8 mm stroke and a compression ratio of 10.5:1. Roller rocker arms, plain bearings, a cylinder offset by 5 mm, a hydraulic cam chain tensioner and an oil scavenge pump are designed to reduce losses. An oil jet cools the piston crown, and a balancer shaft reduces vibration. Intake air passes through a 5.5-litre airbox and a 36 mm throttle body into the downdraft intake tract, whose swirl Honda uses to aid combustion.
Back in 2025, Honda revised the engine management, catalytic converter and exhaust and added a second lambda sensor. The engine meets Euro 5+, and the manufacturer quotes WMTC consumption of 3.3 l/100 km, plus 79 g/km CO₂. With the 9.1-litre tank, Honda states a range of more than 270 kilometres. These figures come from standardised tests with one rider and no additional equipment. Riding style, load, weather, road and vehicle condition affect actual consumption. For stationary and drive-by noise, the press kit lists 82 and 72 dB(A) respectively.
Honda SH350i: 16-inch wheels and Showa suspension
The chassis remains based on a tubular steel underbone frame, which Honda says weighs 19 kg. Up front, a non-adjustable 35 mm Showa fork offers 102 mm of travel. At the rear, two Showa shocks with adjustable spring preload support the swingarm-mounted drive unit, providing 114 mm of travel. The aluminium swingarm is part of the package, as are the two 16-inch cast aluminium wheels. These are shod with Pirelli Angel tyres in 110/70 front and 130/70 rear, with rims measuring 2.75 and 3.5 inches wide respectively. According to Honda, the setup is meant to combine stability, comfort and agility.

16-inch wheels and a tubular steel frame form the basis of the SH350i.
According to Honda, the SH350i tips the scales at 172 kg fueled up. The wheelbase is 1,450 mm, the rake 27.5 degrees and the trail 99 mm. For manoeuvring, the handlebar turns 45 degrees to each side, and Honda quotes a turning circle of 2.2 metres. Up front, a 256 mm disc with a Nissin twin-piston caliper does the stopping, at the rear a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper. A two-channel ABS supports the braking system. The switchable HSTC traction control compares wheel speeds and, when it detects slip, regulates engine torque via the fuel injection. A T symbol indicates when it intervenes.
Honda SH350i: Flat floor and storage space
The SH350i measures 2,160 mm in length, 742 mm in width and 1,177 mm in height. The seat height is 805 mm, the handlebar sits at 1,041 mm, and ground clearance is 130 mm. The flat floor makes getting on easier and helps with carrying cargo, with a folding hook located on the inside of the front fairing. According to Honda, the available space allows for an upright, relaxed riding position. Under the seat there are 22 litres of illuminated storage space, which the manufacturer says will hold a full-face helmet. Smaller items fit in the glovebox.

An upright riding position, flat floor and a seat height of 805 mm define the SH350i.
The standard Smartkey system covers operation of the ignition and seat lock. According to Honda, the scooter locks automatically when the rider walks away. The standard 35-litre Smart Top Box can also be locked and unlocked with the key carried on your person. At the push of a button, the Answer Back function activates the indicators so you can find your SH in the car park. A centre stand, HISS immobiliser and a start-stop system listed in the features table round off the package. The electrical system uses a 12-volt AGM battery with 8.6 Ah.
Six colours and accessories
The design, last revised in 2025, remains the basis. The LED headlight combines a central high beam with two lateral low beams. Position lights and indicators complete the front, while the LED tail light and rear indicators sit in the area of the aluminium pillion grab handles. The ESS Emergency Stop Signal function makes the indicators flash as hazard lights under sudden braking. For 2027, Honda lists six paint schemes: Mat Coal Black Metallic, Pearl Nebbia White, Pearl Falcon Grey, Pearl Hawkseye Blue, Mat Rock Gray and Mat Pearl Diaspro Red.

For 2027, Honda lists six colours. Various paint schemes and accessory configurations are shown here.
If you want to kit out the scooter further, the optional Urban Pack adds an alarm system and heated grips. Honda also offers a tall windscreen, transparent hand guards and a U-lock. The Urban Pack is an accessory package for the SH350i and not a separate model.
