New Yamaha R3 2025

The new styling of the R3, according to Yamaha, enhances aerodynamics. The front is equipped with projection headlights and LED daytime running lights, while integrated winglets and rear-embedded wings reduce air resistance and improve cooling efficiency. The new R3 is available in Yamaha's signature Icon Blue and the sleek Midnight Black.

The 321 cc twin-cylinder engine of the Yamaha R3 remains largely unchanged in terms of its performance data, offering 42 hp at 10,750 rpm and 29.5 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. The engine has proven to be a revvy and fun companion, and this is unlikely to change even with the fulfillment of the EURO 5+ standard. However, the clutch is new. The A&S clutch (Assist & Slipper) ensures smoother gear changes and makes downshifting easier. A Quick Shift System (QSS) is optionally available.

The new Yamaha R3 will be available from February 2025. The price is 7,449 euros in Austria and 7,199 euros in Germany.
