BMW S 1000 R 2025 with Radical Aerodynamics

The BMW S 1000 RR maintains its proven engine power of 210 hp at 13,750 rpm. The central focus of the new model year is on the further development of aerodynamics. The newly designed winglets on the fairing front now generate a downforce of 23.1 kg at 300 km/h, a significant increase compared to the previous 17.1 kg. This adjustment is intended to provide improved front wheel confidence, higher cornering speeds, and reduced wheelie tendency.

Brake ducts and asymmetrical design

Newly added are integrated brake ducts that improve brake cooling and are designed to enhance the performance of the braking system, especially during track use. These brake cooling air ducts are integrated into the new front wheel cover and also optimize the airflow around the fork legs. The side fairing has been asymmetrically designed in reference to the first generation of the RR. On the left side, there is a large outlet opening for heat dissipation, while the right side features a distinctive gill-like appearance - reminiscent of the first S 1000 RR models.

Optimized electronics package for the BMW S 1000 RR

The new M short-stroke throttle, already used in the M 1000 RR, reduces the rotation angle to 58 degrees, allowing for more precise throttle response, especially in race track conditions. Additionally, the S 1000 RR comes standard with the Riding Modes Pro package, which includes additional riding modes such as "Race Pro 1," "Race Pro 2," and "Race Pro 3." These riding modes offer further adjustments to throttle response and engine torque, as well as the ability to regulate the engine drag torque via the "Engine Brake" function.

The standard ABS Pro offers five levels of adjustability in the race track modes. New is the ABS Pro setting "Slick," specifically developed for treadless slick tires. The Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) further assists the rider during braking and prevents unintentional throttle activation to ensure the motorcycle's stability.

BMW S 1000 RR Colors and Price

The BMW S 1000 RR 2025 is available in three color variants: Blackstorm metallic as the base variant, Bluestone metallic in the sport variant, and Lightwhite uni/M Motorsport in conjunction with the M package. The price for the new S 1000 RR will be announced soon.
