No new generation, no major tech update: for the 2027 model year, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-10RR are primarily about new colors. The technology, including the recently introduced winglets and the revised front design, carries over unchanged.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2027: This is actually new
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2027 will be offered in Lime Green / Blue24 (GN1) as well as Metallic Flat Spark Black / Metallic Spark Black (BK1). For the more track-focused Ninja ZX-10RR, the choice remains more limited: it comes in Lime Green (GN2). Both models are set to be available at Kawasaki dealers from November 2026. Kawasaki will announce pricing at a later date.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R 2027: Winglets stay on board
Even though 2027 brings only color changes, the current ZX-10R is still relatively fresh from a technical standpoint. The already-introduced winglets on the front fairing are designed to generate additional aerodynamic downforce at high speeds. Combined with the matching chassis geometry, Kawasaki says the aero package improves high-speed control, cornering performance, and precision on the race track. The brand's signature Ninja face also remains an unchanged part of the model.
For the chassis, Kawasaki continues to rely on components shaped by its WorldSBK involvement. Up front works a BFF fork (Balance Free Front Fork), while a BFRC-lite shock (Balance Free Rear Cushion) is used at the rear. The setup is intended to support controlled weight transfer between front and rear wheel.

According to the available information, the brake system also remains unchanged. Up front, two Brembo M50 monobloc calipers work with 330-millimeter brake discs, paired with a correspondingly tuned radial master cylinder. The electronics package is also carried over. This includes cruise control, traction control, launch control, various power modes, adjustable engine braking, and a quickshifter for clutchless up- and downshifts. Kawasaki also mentions an integrated braking system.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R can still be connected wirelessly via "RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE." This allows riders to access vehicle information and ride logs, as well as manage various vehicle and rider settings.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR 2027: 500 units and Lime Green

Anyone looking for the sharper version will still find it in the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR. According to Kawasaki, this single-seat model is limited to 500 units worldwide and is more strongly geared toward race track use. Differences compared to the ZX-10R include Pankl titanium connecting rods, lighter pistons, titanium-coated fork inner tubes, and a specially tuned rear suspension.
For the 2027 model year, the Ninja ZX-10RR comes exclusively in Lime Green (GN2). It, too, is scheduled to become available from November 2026. Kawasaki has not yet announced a price.
