A worthy new edition from Honda. Even if it doesn't quite shine as brightly in the standard version as it does with the Öhlins Gold in the "SP" version, the Fireblade is a much better bike in 2017. The electronics package is good, the handling great and the seating position very good. The bike looks like a unified whole and will make Honda fans happy.

The Aprilia RSV4 RF is a compact power rocket that requires an expert hand to make perfect use of its strengths. It tends to get bumpy at the front when accelerating, which can be managed with the right weight shift and looseness on the handlebars. Brutal acceleration in front of an impressive sound backdrop (with Akrapovic exhaust) meets hard deceleration in the braking zone thanks to grown 330 discs. On the entry, the RSV stabs precisely into the radius and reacts almost like a 600cc in bends.
