Den "lilla" GSX-S950 är jävligt nära GSX-S1000, varför det verkar som om det stolta tillägget för 1000 kommer att behöva motiveras ordentligt. Men den som vill att det ska vara lika sportigt som på GSX-S1000 kommer redan att misslyckas på grund av den något för mjuka, icke-justerbara fjädringen. Denna mer bekväma design av 950 passar dock motorns karaktär mycket bra. Med (endast) 95 hk är motorn, som är identisk med GSX-S1000, utformad för vridmoment underifrån och i mitten; det finns ingen mening med att envist vrida sig ut. Så om du letar efter en relativt bekväm nakencykel som är lämplig för A2 och som knappast kan särskiljas visuellt från toppmodellen, kan du spara mycket pengar!

The Suzuki GSX-S1000S Katana is based on the naked GSX-S1000 and therefore impresses with all the quality and inner values of a typical Japanese machine. The Katana also has what it takes to become a visual classics, as it is the first to take up the style of the 1980s. The riding position is surprisingly comfortable and the height of the handlebars allows for comfortable control. With its low front fairing, it may not be a true touring machine, but it can certainly pass as a crossover bike that combines retro, naked and touring perfectly.
