If you like a cool scrambler look but need to stay in the A2-compatible range when it comes to the engine, the Triumph Scrambler 400 X is a really smart choice. The 400cc engine has a nice torque in the mid-range; it doesn't really wind out a gear. The riding position is upright, the suspension is comfortable yet stable. The Bavarian shows weaknesses when it comes to the accessibility for short fingers on the brakes and clutch lever and the lack of cruise control. Anyone looking for a versatile, high-quality enduro bike for an A2 licence and beyond will find a coherent overall package in the F 450 GS. The Easy Ride clutch rides amazingly well and offers comfort and safety in equal measure. Less experienced riders in particular benefit significantly here, which is a unique selling point in this segment!
