Det finns egentligen ingen anledning att försöka lista ut varför R nineT är så populär, konceptet är uppenbarligen en utmärkt passform för idag. BMW R nineT Scrambler fungerar också utmärkt och förlitar sig på samma "gamla" boxermotor med luftkylning, som BMW mirakulöst har gjort Euro4-kompatibel utan att offra prestanda eller karaktär. Chassit är mjukare, hjulbasen längre och utrustningen mer spartansk - men under aliaset Scrambler är detta helt acceptabelt, trots allt ligger fokus på bekväm körning. Enmanssadeln (tillval) är lite hård, men R nineT Scrambler är inte obekväm på något sätt och körställningen är särskilt övertygande. Så om du kan leva med mindre utrustning, stål istället för aluminium och enklare fjädringselement, kan du spara mycket pengar med Scrambler - som du sedan kan investera i att skräddarsy!
