The Yamaha XMAX 400 was the big surprise of the comparison test. The 395cc engine is brisk, so the 100 km/h limit is quickly cracked. Unfortunately, the chassis is a bit stiff, which can be felt in the back when you hit a manhole cover. The Zontes 368G impresses with its powerful engine, direct Variomatic and extensive standard equipment - including dashcams, TFT display and tyre pressure monitoring. It is comfortable and modern in everyday use, with room for improvement only in details such as vibrations, app integration and the awkward windscreen adjustment. Overall, an attractively priced GT scooter with its own character - especially for technology fans and city commuters who also like to take a gravel road.
