With its successful revisions and cheeky look, the new Hornet is very appealing without being too aggressive. Only the display looks a little out of place in the otherwise harmonious design and the rear silencer will be recognised from a distance even by the short-sighted among us, Euro5+ sends its regards. But thanks to the Honda accessories catalogue, these visual conspicuousnesses can also be remedied with an additional windscreen that better integrates the display and a slim SC-Project silencer. And at the fighting price of €11,990 or €13,990 for the SP, the new Hornisse will be a serious contender in the battle for buyers' favour, as it has hardly any rivals in terms of price/performance ratio.
Ducati Monster SP 2023
SP-versionen är den klart dyrare, men också den klart bättre Ducati Monster. Allt passar perfekt ihop, eftersom det är typiskt Ducati-sportigt. Den fullt justerbara Öhlins-fjädringen (inklusive gaffeln i svenskt guld!) uppfyller sitt syfte perfekt, Brembo Stylema-bromssystemet griper hårt men inte obehagligt och sittpositionen, med sin något mer framåtlutade position, är sportig men ändå bekväm. Även motorn passar mycket bra in i konceptet med den mycket sportiga nakencykeln i mellanklassen - den vill bli varvad och levererar mest kraft i toppändan. Om du letar efter en brist hos Monster SP är det troligtvis V2-motorns ryckighet vid låga varvtal, men sanna fans av 90° V2-motorn kommer inte att bli förolämpade av detta alls. Priset är inte heller något problem, eftersom italienarna betalar ett ganska högt pris för prestandan i SP-versionen.
