Med en EURO4-motor, nya körlägen, nya instrument och nya färger startar F 800 R den nya säsongen. Den känns igen vid första anblicken bara på ändlocket på det ståtliga avgasröret i rostfritt stål. Det är en av dessa fullvuxna motorcyklar som, trots sin avsevärda sportpotential, har utformats för bredast möjliga användargrupp. Därför är den absolut nybörjarvänlig (gasad), men kan också inspirera en erfaren publik. Dess karaktär är fortfarande något pragmatisk, men det omisskännliga, ihåliga ljudet från inline-tvåan kompenserar för detta.

Feather-light handling like a moped, but already as strong as many a 600cc funk bike from the last 10 years.
