Visuellt är nya Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 nära besläktad med sin encylindriga syster Continental GT 535, men tekniskt tar den ett stort steg framåt. Den parallella tvåcylindriga motorn med 48 hk och 53 Newtonmeter vridmoment är livlig och raffinerad, köregenskaperna är förvånansvärt stabila och bromsarna är också övertygande. Elektroniska funktioner är förgäves, men den underbara cafe racer-looken förblir helt autentisk. Priset är också så lågt i Europa att Royal Enfield inte längre bör betraktas som en udda exotisk modell.

The engine, on the other hand, shows weaknesses in power delivery, especially at low revs, which is not what you would expect from a single-cylinder engine.
