The Zontes 125D is an affordable luxury scooter that offers impressive features and comfort despite its low price. With practical features such as a tyre pressure display, low fuel consumption and a range of over 500 kilometres, it is ideally equipped for everyday use. The riding performance is agile and comfortable, ideal for city and country roads. Small weaknesses, such as the cumbersome Keyless System and the limited storage space, spoil the picture somewhat, but are put into perspective by the attractive price. Overall, the Zontes 125D offers excellent value for money and is a clear recommendation, especially for beginners.

The Piaggio Medley 125 S is cleverly positioned in the urban scooter segment. Compared to the direct Japanese competition, it offers more in one respect: storage space under the seat. With a massive 36 litres, the storage compartment can easily hold two full-face helmets - a value we otherwise only knew from large scooters. While driving, it makes a good impression, but if you are in a hurry at the traffic lights, the start-stop system should be deactivated.
