Det som fungerar för de "små" Scrambler 800-modellerna är nu perfekt för Scrambler 1100: En kraftfull "old school"-motor med högt vridmoment som passar konceptet perfekt, i kombination med ett fantastiskt bromssystem och högkvalitativa chassikomponenter. Detta gör Scrambler 1100 extremt bekväm å ena sidan, men också mycket sportig och överlägsen alla caféracers i snäva kurvor. Utseendet är också rätt, 1100-modellerna designades med mycket mer uppmärksamhet på detaljer än 800-talet. Som förväntat är priset därför mycket högre.

As we all know, there's life in the old dog yet not all two-cylinder engines in the Aprilia range have fallen victim to the Euro4 standard, the mid-range lives on - and how! The Shiver 900 not only has more torque thanks to increased displacement, but also an excellently tuned ride-by-wire system. Added to this are further electronic features such as three mappings as well as adjustable and disengageable traction control and ABS. The timeless look hardly changes, but a colour TFT display is now used for the most modern demands.
