Föregångaren 790 Duke bevisade redan att KTM vet hur man bygger en nakenmotorcykel i mellanklassen för landsvägskörning. Nya 890 bär facklan med uppblåst bröst och lever än en gång upp till sitt smeknamn skalpell. Den är livlig, drar i radierna och utstrålar en viss nervositet som kan tolkas som en vild karaktär. Utrustningen är nästan komplett - men bara nästan. Varför måste man betala extra för kvickväxlaren när den var standard på föregångaren? Det är desto mer irriterande att den kopplingsfria upp- och nedväxlingen fungerar lika smidigt som smör och att man inte skulle vilja vara utan den.
Yamaha XSR900 GP 2024
Credible styling in the style of the 500 GP machines from around 1990 meets state-of-the-art components from the CP3 modular system. For the suspension components, Yamaha used high-quality, fully adjustable parts from KYB. The fork is the same as that used in the MT-09 SP. The sporty basic set-up is perfectly suited to this pretty retro racer. The standard electronic features are also impressive. All riding aids are lean angle-dependent, the quickshifter works first-class and there is even cruise control on board. If you can cope with the sporty riding position, you can enjoy a dream bike. Apart from the brakes, which could have a little more bite, we have no real criticism to make.
