Z900 SE är inte bara ett lyckat tillägg till den vanliga Z900, utan faktiskt den bättre och mer förnuftiga versionen. Den förfinade gaffeln, Öhlins fjäderben som inte är helt justerbara men mer responsiva och det fräsigare Brembo M4.32 bromssystemet gör SE uppfriskande sportigare och är väl värda extrapriset - särskilt om man också tar hänsyn till den coola looken hos Prestige-komponenterna! Det faktum att en quickshifter inte ens är tillgänglig mot extra kostnad kommer dock att skada riktiga sportentusiaster. Om du kan leva med den relativt höga vikten på över 214 kilo, får du en tillräckligt hanterbar nakencykel.

A bike in this performance class probably couldn't be more accessible. The XR waggles playfully through the bends and immediately inspires confidence in the saddle. Even lengthy touring is easy and you always get out of the saddle feeling relaxed. However, the sporty look of the BMW also awakens a desire for some thrills. However, the engine cannot quite fulfil this desire. The engine, transmission and quickshifter are a little too tame overall and could do with a little more sportiness.
