RSV4 är rolig. I sadeln finns en riktig racingkänsla och ingen 1000cc-cykel styr så snabbt som RSV4 när man kommer in i en kurva. När det gäller sportighet, köregenskaper och motoregenskaper fick RSV4 Factory bara lovord från alla testförare. Det radikala helhetskonceptet har dock två stora nackdelar: sittpositionen på långa vägsträckor och den något instabila bakvagnen.
