Kawasaki gjorde rätt i att tänka om och bygga upp Z1000 från grunden. Kawa gjorde sig själv och sina kunders önskemål rättvisa i hög grad. Allt som allt en modig produkt för modiga förare.

Yamaha MT-09 behövde inte uppfinnas på nytt inför den kommande säsongen - det var redan extremt bra gjort för nästan fyra år sedan. Istället fokuserar japanerna på att finjustera och lägga till praktiska, moderna gimmickar som traction control och automatisk växling.
