Honda PCX är en typisk Honda-scooter: kvalitet och utförande är bra, designen ser modern ut och den kompakta scootern får bra acceleration från stillastående med mindre än 12 hk. Även de modernaste teknikerna försummas inte: "Idling Stop" -systemet stänger av motorn när scootern är stillastående och sparar bränsle - väldigt lite, men den gröna idén ensam är rätt steg. Endast det oharmoniska chassit förstör körkomforten lite, men bagageutrymmet kommer upp trumf igen med praktiska värden genom att svälja en helhjälm. Priset på strax under 3 000 euro i Tyskland och strax över 3 000 euro i Österrike är därför helt acceptabelt.

The Piaggio Medley 125 S is cleverly positioned in the urban scooter segment. Compared to the direct Japanese competition, it offers more in one respect: storage space under the seat. With a massive 36 litres, the storage compartment can easily hold two full-face helmets - a value we otherwise only knew from large scooters. While driving, it makes a good impression, but if you are in a hurry at the traffic lights, the start-stop system should be deactivated.
