Med MGX-21 tar italienarna nu en absolut höjdpunkt till marknaden - både för Moto Guzzi och för hela motorcykelindustrin. Designen av den begåvade Miguel Galluzzi är diskret och iögonfallande på samma gång, och kolfiberelementen förstärker den elitistiska känslan. De gör dock ingenting för att minska vikten, som man är van vid med kolfiber; med över 360 kilo fulltankad är MGX-21 en riktigt tung klump. Ändå beter den sig mycket förutsägbart vid körning, bara det enorma 21-tums framhjulet tar lite tid att vänja sig vid. Motor och chassi kommer dock från den välkända California 1400-serien och gör därför ett utmärkt jobb. Priset på cirka 28 000 euro i Österrike gör det dock klart att Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Flying Fortress verkligen inte kommer att vara tillgänglig för alla.
