Pravijo, da je za dobre stvari potreben čas. Triumph se je tega držal in z modelom Tiger 900 GT Pro postavil na lita platišča motocikel, ki nadaljuje dolgo in uspešno pot modela 800 s številnimi izboljšavami podrobnosti in je prav tako praktičen motocikel za vsak dan kot za daljše ture in potovanja. Trojka je postala ostrejša, a je še vedno harmonična celota, s katero tudi začetniki ne morejo narediti nič narobe, ne da bi dolgočasila izkušenega motorista. In to po zaslugi zadostnih hodov vzmetenja na cestah najrazličnejših lastnosti, pa tudi na dokaj zmernih terenskih prehodih. V našem prvem vtisu ni bilo veliko stvari, nad katerimi bi se lahko pritoževali, vsekakor pa si bomo Tigra še podrobneje ogledali.

Tiger 800 XRx je popolnoma zvest sopotnik na vseh poteh - in tudi izven njih. Zaradi tesne povezave s sestrskim modelom Tiger 800 XCx ima zelo robustno in terensko zmogljivo podvozje, motor pa se gladko vleče tudi od daleč navzgor in zato tudi pri hoji ne povzroča nobenih obremenitev. Model XRx je zasnovan bolj za uporabo samo na cesti, saj ima spredaj manjše 19-palčne pnevmatike, zadaj pa 17-palčne pnevmatike. V sezoni ga nisem vozil kot edini preizkuševalec, kar pomeni, da ga je več pilotov uporabljalo na različne načine in ga zato tudi izzvalo. To je v bistvu precejšen izziv, saj je slog vožnje vsakega posameznega voznika drugačen. In prav tu se je znova pokazalo, da je Triumph Tiger 800 XRx odličen vsestranski voznik.
