A Kawasaki Versyshez hasonlóan a kis V-Strom is kezd egy kicsit megöregedni. Az 1000-es annyira jól sikerült és könnyen vezetheto, hogy érdemes megfontolni, hogy rögtön a "nagyot" vedd. Sokoldalúság szempontjából azonban a 650-es semmivel sem rosszabb a nagy V-Stromnál, ráadásul jóval alacsonyabb áron. Versenypályára viszont már nem vinnénk. És persze nehezebb terheléssel is jobban meg kell birkóznia, mint egy 100+ lóeros motorkerékpárnak.
