Le nouveau SH300i se présente à nouveau comme un scooter à grandes roues pratique et étonnamment sportif, mais il fait presque tout mieux que son prédécesseur. On supportera tout à fait que la puissance et le couple baissent de manière marginale si l'on entend que le milieu du régime offre ainsi un peu plus de punch. De toute façon, on ne le sentira guère, il n'y avait absolument pas besoin d'agir sur les talents sportifs du SH300i. En revanche, l'espace de rangement l'est, car un casque intégral de taille normale peut désormais être placé sous la selle. Des caractéristiques de confort supplémentaires comme le système Honda Smart Key, qui permet de laisser la clé de contact dans la poche, ainsi qu'une prise de courant de 12 volts sous la selle rendent le SH300i encore plus intéressant. Enfin, l'esthétique a été améliorée, grâce à l'éclairage entièrement à LED, il semble désormais plus sportif sans pour autant faire fuir les habitués.
