La Funbike MT-09 est au top de sa forme dans sa version SP ! Le moteur trois cylindres extrêmement amusant et poussif donne l'impression de développer plus de 119 ch grâce à son couple élevé. À cela s'ajoutent une maniabilité grandiose, digne d'une bicyclette, et des freins phénoménaux et finement dosés. La position de conduite droite, orientée vers l'arrière, n'enlève pas tant de sensations à la roue avant dans la MT-09 SP, car le châssis de haute qualité donne un feedback propre de la route et parcourt chaque rayon de manière stable. Comme toujours chez Yamaha, la clarté de l'écran TFT et le concept de commande de l'abondante électronique laissent malheureusement à désirer. La selle et le confort du passager pourraient également être meilleurs. Mais sinon, la MT-09 SP est la moto (presque) parfaite pour un plaisir de conduire massif.
