La grande GS Adventure est et reste une excellente moto pour tous les terrains, même pour les épingles les plus étroites. Le centre de gravité bas du moteur boxer, le vilebrequin monté longitudinalement, la position d'assise droite et le couple puissant, mais bien contrôlable, venant de très bas sont une force. La version Adventure a certes une selle plus haute pour un poids plus important, ce qui représente une difficulté décisive, surtout pour tourner ou manœuvrer, mais en termes de performances, le moteur a tellement de punch, même dans la grande GS Adventure, que l'on peut s'éclater de manière incroyable. Le système de freinage de la BMW est solide et parfaitement dosable, et les caractéristiques ainsi que l'électronique peuvent être mises à niveau de manière conséquente - pour autant que l'on coche les cases dans la liste de commande. Cela fait évidemment grimper le prix, mais cela ne dérange visiblement pas les nombreux fans de la grosse GS Adventure.

La BMW F 850 GS marque encore des points en 2022 avec une ergonomie agréable et un caractère accessible. Les commandes sont faciles à prendre en main et on se sent rapidement à l'aise sur la moto.
