On peut difficilement se plaindre du freinage et de la réactivité du moteur, mais on peut tout à fait lui pardonner son manque de puissance sur la concurrence et sa maniabilité un peu lente, après tout, la Speed Triple est un classique avec une histoire et son design est légendaire - ce qui est bien plus important pour les vrais fans que quelques chevaux supplémentaires.
