Conduire un cruiser, c'est facile ! C'est sous ce slogan qu'Indian devrait vendre la Scout, car elle montre que les cruisers américains cools ne sont pas forcément difficiles ou compliqués à utiliser. Au quotidien, elle se révèle être une compagne sans stress et surprend par sa sportivité et son V2 très poussif. Si elle avait un peu plus de caractère, elle serait parfaite.

Lors de notre test, Vauli et K.OT ont été unanimes. Aucun modèle de la gamme Harley-Davidson ne leur plaît autant que le Softail Slim. Elle incarne à 100% l'histoire Harley et le Made in America. Avec son look, elle pourrait passer pour une originale des années 50 et reprend même quelques éléments et citations de cette époque. Même le siège individuel n'a fait l'objet d'aucun compromis. Le moteur est extrêmement coupleux, mais les embouteillages sont à éviter autant que possible en raison de la forte chaleur dégagée. Les freins fonctionnent parfaitement et la dynamique de conduite est harmonieuse grâce aux deux pneus étroits, mais fortement limitée par l'angle d'inclinaison maximum. Pour ce qui est du son, on devrait et on va en rajouter, car ce look authentique va de pair avec un son authentique. Une moto pour des générations.
