L'Africa Twin est pour moi une moto d'aventure comme une moto d'aventure doit l'être. C'était déjà le cas pour le modèle précédent et cela n'a pas changé avec l'augmentation de la cylindrée et de la puissance. D'une part, parce que la puissance de 102 ch est restée raisonnable et que Honda a même réussi à perdre quelques kilos par rapport à la CRF1000L. Il lui restait donc la polyvalence, elle fonctionne aussi bien sur l'autoroute qu'en off-road. Le châssis absorbe presque toutes les irrégularités, le moteur reste souverain dans toutes les situations, l'ergonomie et le confort d'assise sont exemplaires. Une moto pour tous les jours, mais aussi pour les grands voyages - quelle que soit la destination.

La KTM 1050 Adventure reprend là où les aventures 990 s'étaient arrêtées il y a quelques années : Une puissance d'environ 100 ch, une maniabilité ludique et autant ou aussi peu d'électronique que l'état de l'art actuel. Le moteur est en effet tout sauf lent, l'ABS et le contrôle de traction règlent de manière sûre et discrète et la performance de conduite est extrêmement orientée vers le plaisir, notamment en raison des pneus relativement étroits.
