Both bikes have four cylinders and fuel injection systems, ensuring efficient and smooth power delivery. The BMW has a larger displacement at 999 ccm, while the Kawasaki has a slightly smaller displacement at 948 ccm. This may result in a slight difference in overall performance and throttle response.
In terms of suspension, both bikes feature upside-down telescopic forks at the front and swing arm suspension with monoshock at the rear. Both bikes have double disk brakes at the front with four pistons, ensuring strong stopping power. However, the BMW has larger front brake disks with a diameter of 320 mm compared to the Kawasaki's 300 mm. On the other hand, the Kawasaki Z900 offers light and natural handling with high stability, a silky engine with full pull from low revs, high chassis transparency, and a comfortable seating position. It also comes at an absolutely fair price.
In terms of weaknesses, the BMW M 1000 R's main drawback is its high price, which may make it less accessible for some riders. Avantages et inconvénients en comparaison
Avantages et inconvénients en comparaison
BMW M 1000 R 2023
