Mais la Tiger 1200 nouvellement développée manque (encore) un peu de rondeur dans certains coins, comme on le remarque par exemple aux réactions plus fortes aux changements de charge et aux vibrations à haute fréquence sur les étapes d'autoroute.

En comparaison directe avec sa petite sœur Tiger 800 XC, la Tiger Sport 1050 ne marque des points que dans un seul chapitre : Les freins sont extrêmement équilibrés et s'enclenchent correctement quand on en a besoin.
