Les freins, le châssis réglable et l'angle d'inclinaison maximum sont ici décisifs. Grâce à la selle plus haute de 30 mm, on se met automatiquement dans une position de course orientée vers la roue avant, on reçoit plus de feedback du châssis et on met plus de poussée sur les freins. La 'R' a déjà tout ce que l'on peut obtenir avec la version standard uniquement via le Track Pack - et même plus. A savoir le châssis raffiné et le système d'échappement Akrapovic. En revanche, il faut faire de petites concessions au niveau du confort au quotidien.
