Avec ses couleurs discrètes, la version Exclusive est destinée aux amateurs d'une apparence soignée et feutrée et, contrairement à la variante Rallye plus criarde, elle est plutôt conçue pour la route. De nombreuses caractéristiques sont payantes, mais les clients de la GS ne s'en soucient généralement pas - 90% d'entre eux commandent un équipement complet.

Il est inutile d'essayer de comprendre pourquoi la R nineT est si populaire, le concept est manifestement parfaitement adapté à notre époque. La BMW R nineT Scrambler fonctionne elle aussi à merveille, puisqu'elle repose sur le même "vieux" moteur boxer à refroidissement par air, que BMW a miraculeusement rendu compatible avec l'Euro4 sans perte de performance ni de caractère. Le châssis est plus souple, la tige de roue plus longue et l'équipement plus spartiate - mais sous le nom de code Scrambler, c'est tout à fait acceptable, après tout, la conduite confortable est au premier plan. La selle unipersonnelle en option est certes un peu dure, mais la R nineT Scrambler n'est en aucun cas inconfortable, c'est surtout la position de conduite qui convainc pleinement. Celui qui peut vivre avec moins d'options, de l'acier au lieu de l'aluminium et des éléments de suspension plus simples, économise beaucoup d'argent avec la Scrambler - qu'il peut ensuite investir dans une personnalisation individuelle !
