L'Adventure R va encore plus loin que le modèle standard. Ici, les gars de WP ont enfin pu puiser dans leurs ressources et montrer ce dont ils sont capables. Grâce à son châssis de meilleure qualité, il compense sur la route les inconvénients du long débattement de la suspension, mais marque des points en off-road avec des réserves massives.
