La Yamaha WR 450 F est un superbe ensemble tout-en-un. Son monocylindre assure une propulsion puissante tout en restant facile à doser. Grâce à son couple élevé, le moteur entraîne le pilote même dans les pentes les plus raides. En ce qui concerne le châssis, nos testeurs n'ont pu que s'extasier devant l'excellente réactivité et la facilité de maniement. Seul le freinage de la Yamaha WR 450 F pourrait être un peu plus incisif pour l'un de nos testeurs. Un super vélo polyvalent pour les pilotes d'enduro ambitieux.

Le moteur de l'YZ450F est puissant et un peu agressif, mais il peut être optimisé par des cartographies. Ce qui est frappant sur l'YZ450F, c'est le bruit d'aspiration important du moteur, mais on s'y habitue rapidement. La maniabilité est également très bonne et les vitesses sont faciles à passer. Contrairement à la 250, la YZ450F GYTR est un peu plus légère et plus agréable à conduire que la 450 standard. Le châssis répond bien, fonctionne très bien et est très facile à manier.
