Le moteur est en effet tout sauf lent, l'ABS et le contrôle de traction règlent de manière sûre et discrète et la performance de conduite est extrêmement orientée vers le plaisir, notamment en raison des pneus relativement étroits. Et tout cela à un prix qui, dans la ligue des grands enduros de voyage, n'est battu que par quelques concurrents. Aussi triste que cela puisse paraître, les deux aventures 1190 et surtout le fleuron 1290 Super Adventure ont atteint des sommets en matière de prix. C'est pourquoi la KTM 1050 Adventure est peut-être même le modèle le plus cohérent des quatre Adventure.
