En principe, que je trouve la Yamaha XSR900 Abarth bonne ou mauvaise n'a guère d'importance - les 95 premiers des 695 scooters vendus dans le monde ont été écoulés en 20 minutes. Il n'y a donc pas lieu de s'inquiéter pour les 600 exemplaires restants. Il faut néanmoins mentionner que la version Abarth a énormément de gueule avec ses carénages en carbone à l'avant et à l'arrière, son échappement Akrapovic et sa selle en cuir suédé. Le guidon bas n'est certes pas aussi confortable que celui de la XSR900 traditionnelle, mais il s'accorde parfaitement avec cette allure stylée. Le moteur, le châssis et les freins fonctionnent comme ceux de la XSR900 normale, c'est-à-dire de manière extrêmement sportive et délicieusement maniable.
