Un design affûté avec un avant agressif et un arrière étroit - comme l'ont toujours souhaité les bandits de grand chemin. Il est dommage que le bras oscillant arrière ait été négligé (officiellement pour des raisons de poids, officieusement pour des raisons de coûts), et le système de freinage avant à double piston semble un peu faible. Mais la performance pendant la conduite, aussi bien à grande vitesse que dans les épingles, est tout à fait correcte.

De nombreuses années de victoires dans la compétition moto internationale ont fait de la Superbike GSX-R1000 une légende - et un modèle un peu grisonnant.
