Certes, les 208 ch aberrants ne sont toujours disponibles qu'à 13.000 tours, mais la SF V4 S est désormais acceptable même à bas régime. L'ergonomie et la maniabilité sont toujours aussi réussies et la suspension électronique Öhlins se montre sous son meilleur jour. Les freins Brembo Stylema, très puissants, célèbrent à nouveau le goût pour la piste de course. Une moto de poseur parfaite, qui fonctionne désormais aussi sur la route, et de toute façon sur la piste de course. Seule la sonorité trop forte devrait être un peu freinée.

La conclusion est très facile à tirer. Ducati a amélioré une "moto déjà presque parfaite" sans rien changer de négatif.
